Billet steel isn't as cheap as aluminum.

i can't compare ebay to any other brand but what i can do is present my testimony.
i have spider trax on mine and i couldn't be happier. I've had mine for about 7 months now and no problems. I am getting ready to get a set of aftermarket wheels so i might be selling mine or i might just leave them on for a wider stance-need to see how they look. well what ever you do listen to the fellas that have purchased ebay product spacers and have switched to a better product.

To the OP, I've read a lot about Spidertrax, and can honestly say they will definitely be the more beneficial way to go.

You are right of course. I think Spidertrax are the best. The other one mentioned is good too and I think the tests that were done showed that failure will happen somewhere else before they(the two main spacer brands mentioned) will fail.

I would like to respectively withdraw my earlier conclusion that the RC and the Spider… are the same.
On paper…Both are 6061-T6 Alum, Grade 8 Studs, hub-centric
However after really digging...
https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...Analysis/page7

Some dug deeper...really deep. FEA (Finite Element Analysis)

That's not to say i'm getting rid of the spacers I have and switching, but for 70 bucks I would have bought those in the first place.
I don't know if 45k PSI tensile strength/ grade 8 hardware is overkill versus 30k psi/ grade 5 hardware, but for 70 dollars. Better safe that sorry for a few bucks.

I so agree. Thanks or researching that for me. I do agree and the money was never the question, but I didn't want to waste my money and the forums are supposed to be for things like this. I appreciate the people who input on my topic,
