Default Who makes the best control arms?

Who makes the best mid arm (short arm)s Clayton rockkrawler teraflex full traction currie etc etc.. I'm looking for a good mid arm system with all 8 arms for my 2 door somewhere between 3-4in. If anyone can chime in and give some advice on control arms that would be great. Which ones offer more flex than others which ones are beefier etc..

TeraFlex has been using the same Flex Joint/ Clevite bushing setup since these control arms came out. These arms have always been quiet and easy to maintain. The large rebuildable flex joint offers 30 degrees of range under load. It's combinded with a large OEM style Clevite bushing on the frame end to dampen road noise and vibrations. The control arm tubing is a beefy .281" thick on all TeraFlex JK control arms.

Rear upper control arms using a med flex joint on both ends, along with the front uppers have them on the frame end. Every control arm is adjustable, to make it easier for our customers to dial in their caster/pinion angles.

I'd say Teraflex or EVO.

I actually just got off of the phone with you guys talking about your mid arms. How would the 4in full flex arm system ride down the highway with a 2 door I'm lookin at running tube fenders and 37s.

If it was mine, I would run ELKA's to help smooth out the ride. Look up Toad here on the forum, she has a 2dr with a TeraFlex 4" with short arms as her daily driver.

No problems with my teraflex arms yet! They are stout, that's for sure.

Hey TeraFlex guy,, Ya see those "Jam Nuts" on the ends of your Adj Arms? I was wonderin if a person could leave them loose so the "flex Joint" could move free when the Axle gets "twisted" up at angles. I seen where another brand lets the joint turn in the threads so it is not bound up when the axle is at extreme angles. Just wondering what the engineers have said about this. Looking for a technical engineering view on this, not a personal feeling about it. Thanks

No, that would be bad. That's how the threads get stripped. Plus you would allow grime and dirt to be impacted into the threads which could lead to them seizing.
