I ran my mtr-k 37" for almost a year DD and rock crawling and steering held up just fine, BUT, during my install of my ProRock the steering box began whining so I replaced it before Moab. All still seems good, but I might consider a hydro assist and the new JKS steering box hd bracket and frame brace down the road. While in Moab another jeep in our group on 37's did blow out his steering and we had fun seeing him get down from the top of triple threat.

My Jeep is my DD, but I drive less than 10K a year.

I dont do any hardcore stuff, I wheel about 2x a month, and here in NJ I am mostly into trail riding & some mud do you think I would have steering issues still that need addressing??

No word have ever rang more true!! To bad I been on the mistake side of this .

I am happy with my 35s, on my 2nd set on my 4 dr. I like the look of 37s but to me its not worth the increased chance of carnage. 35's are a great DD weekend warrior combo but I will probably go to 37s next when I have more $$ saved in case something breaks!

I don't think you'll be unhappy with 37s. I just bought a 2 door sport and was going back and forth between 35s and 37s more because I have a d30 in the front though. I'm planning on going 37s I've got chromoly shafts gears lockers sleeves c gussets and lca skids on order right now from northridge 4x4. I've heard to many people say they should have gone 37s over 35s that's why I'm going that route best of luck to you my friend also my jeep is not my dd

I say go for it. Here's mine with RK 3.5" and 37's. You'll definitely want to beef things up a bit if you plan to get serious off road but you won't regret it!!!
