CT checking in
It's good to hear that your's is at least moving through the check points now clubber. News like that helps keep the spirits up.
Hey 888... sorry to hear about your set back, man. That really sucks.
But at least yours is built and on it's way. It took Way Of Life over 1/2 a year to get his. I think he ordered it sometime in July, and he just got it a few weeks ago.

I talked to my stealer last night, and he said that "they don't know when they're going to get it."
According to DC, it was on a train 1/27... my dealer says that "there's no way to track it from that point on; we can just go off the estimate that they [DC] give us." So, he's "hoping" 2/15, but says he can't commit to it.
Jeep's website let's you check dealerships inventory... my Jeep (same VIN # and all) is shown as part of their inventory, but the dealer told me that they ALWAYS show up on the Jeep site before they get to the dealership. Not sure what to believe, but I'm really hoping that it'll arrive soon.
Dealer (which had promised that remote start would be installed same day vehicle arrived, and that vehicle would be ready for delivery same-day) is now saying it may take another 1-2 days after my Jeep gets there to have the remote start installed.
I'm doing my best to stay psyched, but truth be told, I'm getting pretty damn frustrated with this dealership - they're not gonna get a very good survey result out of me!
 Good-bye 5-star rating!
Welcome Egmont. OK, Chopper - here's the deal:

Where exactly are you? I had my remote start installed by a local electronics guy. He did it in about an 1 1/2 hrs., he also helped me install my Pioneer AVIC-Z1, well actually I helped him. :toung:
I'm in Avon, and I'm having the dealership install the Mopar remote start prior to taking delivery so that it's covered under factory warranty. Otherwise, I'd have it done aftermarket too.
You have a point, my warranty with this unit, made by CrimeStpper, including battery replacement, is lifetime. It is a none intrusive installation and the total cost was $350.00.
PS Got to go back today, one of the remotes is intermittent.
