Chopper, Timex - it was good to see you guys Saturday. I'm really sorry that your YJ met with such trouble Timex... to its credit, that thing is a beast: most vehicles would've just quit completely, especially when you were stalling on that steep hill!
DrinkingMyMilk - good to see you again in Tolland. Did you know that your driver's side foglight is out? Not sure if that happened in Tolland with the water crossings or not, but noticed that when you were following us home.
JKSahara: When are we gonna get YOU out on the trail?
Clubber: Welcome back to the land of the living - how's it going? You ever going to be able to join us for a trail run?
All: I like RedRubi's suggestion that we get together in Union, CT for a trail run... anyone feel like doing this SOON (like before the winter snows hit)?

New to the Jeep world
Hey everybody. I'm new to this whole forum thing and new to the Jeep world. I just bought an '08 Wrangler Sahara Unlimited in the Steel Blue color. And by just, I mean I brought it home on friday. I absolutely love it. I've wanted to get a wrangler for such a long time, and now I finally have it. Not really sure how much off roading I plan on doing in it yet, but would like to eventually. Anyway, I just wanted to say hello.....hello

Thats the one thats cracked and fixed it self on the first tolland trip. No big deal prolly need pluging in again. Thanks for the heads up.

had a great time in tolland. im up for a trail run in union anytime. just post up when and exactly where. cant wait.

MJS- you are too funny! BUT- Just so YOU know, I got my 1st rock chip in the front fender when a tractor trailer whacked me with a rock....so it is now all broken in so there
Sorry that I have been so busy..christmas coming..work..everything...but I will make every effort to come to the next ride..i promise!!!! If i can get my jeep in for the recall and have it fixed 1st, just in case...don't want anymore dings in my bling..ha ha h ah hahahahahahahahahahahahahha ha!

Hey Boys..............Hows everyone doing ? Me and my Rubi are doing good. I haven't done any mods at all and wont till I retire. I have an 80 mile round trip daily and bigger tires = more gas. The only prob. I had is a recall for the brake thing, which I have no choice but to bring it to the dealer and hope he dosen't screw something else up while doing the repair.
Anyhow..........been doing alot of hunting and fishing , and spending alot of time on hunting and fishing forums. Well hope all of you are ok and HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all.....

Where would you like to go? I know of middletown and over by wallmart way down by groton/old saybrook. I have not explored either very well although middletown seems like it had alot more room. If you know others let me know, I'm always down for some fun.
