CT checking in
How about the state forest in Union that RebRubi talked about? Sounds a lot better (and more legal) than Middletown...
I have absolutely no problem coming down you guys' way. I'm also going to look for more trails up here for us. keep me posted.
On a side note I have some very disapointing news. Shadowman024 just traded in his JK for an FJ Cruiser. He wanted something with a little more room for his dog. He has expressed to me that he would still like to go wheeling with us even though he no longer has a jeep.

scottcarp:Does he know the JK comes in a four door? I've seen a few around here somewhere...
That's too bad....I guess that he never read that the new 4 door Unlimiteds actually
have more interior space than the Toyota FJ's and the Hummers as well.
(Personal note: I was looking at the FJ's myself at one time, but I couldn't
stand the set-up of the left and right rear passenger doors)
Plus Jeep...Best in class-4X4 off road vehicle.
Why go anyplace else?????

I just washed the Rubi last night. We have an awsome
steam pressure washer at the shop where I work.
Saturdays mud didn't have a chance.
Now that my ride is clean I can get it dirty again
Union run sounds cool to me.

Someone told me there are some in union. ive been to some smaller ones in east haddam that i didnt reallly explore much but the run i went though was fun, it was aa tight trail with small ledges and decent mud holes to cross. ive heard there are some good ones in middletown too but havnt traveled to them. Anyone else know of some good trails?
