How about the state forest in Union that RebRubi talked about? Sounds a lot better (and more legal) than Middletown...

I have absolutely no problem coming down you guys' way. I'm also going to look for more trails up here for us. keep me posted.

On a side note I have some very disapointing news. Shadowman024 just traded in his JK for an FJ Cruiser. He wanted something with a little more room for his dog. He has expressed to me that he would still like to go wheeling with us even though he no longer has a jeep.

That's too bad....I guess that he never read that the new 4 door Unlimiteds actually
have more interior space than the Toyota FJ's and the Hummers as well.

(Personal note: I was looking at the FJ's myself at one time, but I couldn't
stand the set-up of the left and right rear passenger doors)

Plus Jeep...Best in class-4X4 off road vehicle.
Why go anyplace else?????

I just washed the Rubi last night. We have an awsome
steam pressure washer at the shop where I work.
Saturdays mud didn't have a chance.
Now that my ride is clean I can get it dirty again
Union run sounds cool to me.

Is this a joke? I personally have no problem going wheeling with non-Jeeps, but he should really join an FJ forum and read up on all the issues that they've been having off-road (broken FRAMES, etc.). They're NOT suited to off-roading much (except maybe the beach) and Toyota's telling owners that they're SOL... poor guy doesn't know what he's getting into!

Likewise - I'll drive to Middletown if I have to, but would strongly prefer traveling on trails that aren't going to result in a trespassing fine!

RedRubi: Where are you? Where's the location of these trails in Union?

I don't quite understand what he was thinking, I think he likes how flashy and unique the fj looks, he has also been extremely misinformed about the off road capabilities. When he comes with us next time, just show him why he should have kept the jk rubi .
