i second the 2.5" teraflex kit with coils and longer shocks (not shock ext). Teraflex has GREAT customer service if anything goes wrong with the kit. the basic kit is easy to upgrade so it's not a bad start. i sometimes wish i would have gone with the 2.5" kit. would have been a whole lot cheaper.
Soooo, I'm thinking I'll either go with the Tflex 2.5" with someone elses shocks, or i'll go with the ProComp 2.5" kit with their MX6 shocks...
I'm curious what the front to rear profile looks like with stock 17" Moabs, 35" tires and wheel spacers.... I'm wondering how far out the tires stick. They must stick out quite a bit beyond the fender flares?
...I was thinking about a taller lift but ...I think I am going to be satisfied with mine for now..I got over 3" of lift out of it...YOU NEED SOME MEATs ON THAT THING!!!!! but it looks great MontyI was looking at the TFlex kit... I think I would want to spend a little extra $$ on good shocks. I like the ProComp MX6 - mainly cuz they're adjustable. Although I read two reviews that mentioned their shocks actually broke off at the top connection. They swore they weren't even driving "rough". Anyway, so now I'm' not sure about those.. I heard the Rancho's are made "cheaply" and susceptible to rust. Also they adjustment knob has been described as "cheap plastic"..

I had two Full Traction nitro shocks blow on me, and I've compared the ride of the OME's to a few others (stock, full traction, Bilstein (same as RE), Tera).
I've been running the OME long travel shocks for about 9 months now, and I would not go any other way at this point.
Old Man Emu shocks are the best bet IMO. They are specifically valved for the JK, so I don't think you really need the adjustability, and by all accounts they will far outlast the competition -- if you believe the marketing, they were designed for long haul Australian outback type abuse.

If you really want a personalized ride, go with like a Rancho 9000XL so that you can adjust them to your preference. Especially since the front and rear technically need different rates in order to have the same ride.
