If you go with bigger tires you can always keep your stock tires and put them back on if you have a problem.
So.... What lift are we putting on it? Hehe... I couldn't find too many 2" kits (spring kits). I think I'd really like to do springs and shocks (as opposed to spacers and shocks). Was thinking of the TF 2.5" spring kit with some Rancho adjustable shocks...

Other concerns - I will be keeping my stock wheels (will need spacers for 35's from what I understand). I'd rather not have to move brake lines or fuel lines, but if it's the right thing to do, of course I'll do it..

2009 JK 4 Door/ 2 Door Rubicon - 4WD, System - 2.5" (MX Shocks) - EXP-K3099BMX
System with MX6 Front and Rear Shocks 1 EXP-55728B Component Box Kit
1 EXP-55399 Front Coil Springs
1 EXP-55207 Rear Coil Springs
2 EXP-MX6149 MX6 Front Shocks
2 EXP-MX6150 MX6 Rear Shocks

I'm wondering - are the shocks good? bad? hard/soft? They seem to have 2 kits - one with the MX6 shocks and one with ES9000 shocks.. Ok, I looked it up - it looks like the MX6 shocks are adjustable...

I am running 35's on my 2 door, the Teraflex 2.5" coil lift , I believe you will have to run spacers with the stock rims. The only thing I had to add was an adjustable front trackbar (Teraflex) and I was good to go. I DID however have to get my Jeep flashed at the dealership to disengage my ESP but I hear on late 08's and 09's (don't know about 2010's) that isn't needed due to being able to disengage it yourself via "the dance" listed in your book. No BL needed and brake lines are relocated with the kit. Also I am running the Teraflex shocks.

I'm curious - why does the ESP light come on? I'm wondering what sensor is tripped..

i second the 2.5" teraflex kit with coils and longer shocks (not shock ext). Teraflex has GREAT customer service if anything goes wrong with the kit. the basic kit is easy to upgrade so it's not a bad start. i sometimes wish i would have gone with the 2.5" kit. would have been a whole lot cheaper.
