I'll say it again Uniden 510, 520... There are some guys that have "some" good luck with this cobra unit, but cobra has too many issues with their smaller units...
Maybe the next one will be fine. good luck, the odds are with you this time. :-)

 

Thanks. Its being repaired under warranty and I should have it back on Tuesday - hope it works this time! For me, I really liked the clean install and hidden connector box... But we'll see!

I'm still planning on hitting Squaw Mountain this Saturday... does any one have an idea if there's still any snow up there?

Great idea! I did the same thing last august - picked up a '98 civic that averages 30mpg and it keeps all the miles off my jeep

 

With the weather change recently, the snow 4x4 reports I heard from this last weekend doesn't sound encouraging coming from the back side of LoLo Pass rd and the Mollala foot hills, on up.
This was from two different people and it's "not" going to get any better this week end according to the weather...
