STOP DON'T JUMP!!!! there is life after a refrigerator!!! I have an idea that may help you choose the right one for you. If you could co-ordinate with the fella that has the 63 qt and me we could meet this weekend somewhere and you could look at both in person and try each in your jeep. It couldn't get any better than a hands on? No you don't get to take one of ours home though.

That is a good idea. I am leaning towards the 60 quart but I just want to make sure it will fit in the back without having to put the seat down. I measured it and it looked like I would be an inch sort. Maybe I will send out a couple of PM to set something up. Thanks for the offer.

Just remember the driver side of the tailgate sticks into the cargo area two or three inches more than the passenger side

I know, I am measuring the passenger side and I’m just not sure.

Gonna do a quick Hi-Jack if you don't mind. Been following this thread to help us decide which Fridge to go with and decided on the 50qt (got it through Taylor @ Rebel and couldn't beat the price, plus he couldn't get the 63qt till Nov).

For those of you using the 50qt, what temp do you set it at and what is the best way to pack your food/drinks/ for optimal cooling? Also, how good does it hold temp at night with no power? Not going to have time before Big Bear Topless for TATAs to run a dedicated power source (thought about using my portable Jump Starter since it has a 12vdc jack).

I set mine at 33 degrees and put the things you want the coldest in the bottom. As for the holding power keep it as full of cold items as you can to act as a cold sink. I have an extra ARB power chord you could use for the run as you would have to get power thru the firewall anyway. Pm me for details if interested.
