For those of you using the 50qt, what temp do you set it at and what is the best way to pack your food/drinks/ for optimal cooling? Also, how good does it hold temp at night with no power? Not going to have time before Big Bear Topless for TATAs to run a dedicated power source (thought about using my portable Jump Starter since it has a 12vdc jack).
Just run it all night. I do that all the time while camping.

Sorry for another hijack. What so you do in bear country? Leave the fridge in the Jeep? Move the steaks to another cooler into the bear locker?

Thanks.

Okay I have made my mind up (finally). I am going to go for the 63 quart. I went over and checked out SoCalGSXR 63 quart and put it in the back of my Jeep. It was a tight fit but I think I can move the seat and the latches so I can get the ¼ inch it would like to have. If not you just need to shut the gate firmly.
