Is it just me?
It's the internet -- get used to it. Everyone has an opinon. That's why forums exist. Why do you let what other people believe or think, do or own bother you? Lifes to short to worry about other people's shit. Just skip over it. Who cares if they don't search? No need to set them straight...skip over it. No need to get yourself all worked up.btw - the search function on this forum is pretty useless due to the overwhelming amount of info (good and bad) on here, and very difficult to navigate so people are taking the easy route. If there are people on here willing to help out a new Jeeper by answerng their questions -- that's awesome. If you don't want to help and share your opinion (and that's what it is for everyone, and opinion), then don't. Keep calm and Jeep on

And yeah there will always be people who buy a Jeep and build it up just because they want to look cool. Wish I could afford to do that for nothing myself. But oh well. They are lucky to be able to do that. If they think others are crazy for using their Jeeps...that's their opinion and only their opinion. Who cares!

[QUOTE= I feel like almost every jeep trip I've been on people think I'm some dumbass trying to hang with the big boys with my stock 32 rubi tires. But I'm climbing up obsticles without lockers, when they are much more built than I and need a spot and their lockers on, for them to even think about attempting it. Like seriously I almost feel ashamed to say I have a JK because these posers/web wheelers/followers make everyone who owns a JK seem like a douche bag. [/QUOTE]
I have a mostly stock jeep with a winch and gone wheeling a couple times with wol peeps. Most are super friendly. there are annoying people on any and every forum, and i think you helped prove that.

whatever... some ppl on this forum do overcompensate for something.
I've been saying it for years that lil to no mods are best and you don't need a bunch of craptastic stuff to go wheeling. they will never listen because A) they need those extra mods so they are cooler than you B) they will not make it up that hill without every lil bit of advantage they can get in mods C) they would prob trash a stock jeep cause they know nothing of good lines and how to finesse a jeep. just go out there and wave in your stock jeep at the same guys who needed 15K in mods to get to the same spot. they will hate you for it, I always laugh at the overcompensation and countless issues they will have with their jeeps. but hey no one is listening anyways so jeep on
or for the over compensators, repair on!

Public Welfare Assistance Scam
PMS.... Good one, but everyone gets tired of people hoping on trendy band wagons.... Granted its different strokes for different folks, but don't gag yourself on some manufactures product if 1) your not getting sponsored 2) act like you designed it, hell like you even installed it yourself in most cases 3) if you don't even use it to its full potential..... The JK body style jeep has had quite a bit do just that. Be your own jeep person. Research other products ,Google was a great invention, see what actually works instead of what is trendy. Look at what you do intend to do with your Jeep, build it for that. Or just take it wheeling once or twice, see its limits and upgrade what you think will help, not what Joe blow down the street thinks you need to run the king of hammers. Its a great way to save money.
