Well guys I'm one step closer to being ready for wheeling this weekend. I got a Astatis 48" top load antenna on and the cable run, now I just need to get the CB radio installed .

 

You're ahead of me. BTW, is there a local store that stocks CB supplies? I have the CB and antenna (ordered off of eBarf), but need a mount plus coax.

I know a guy who allegedly has the ProComps like yours, except spoked 7189s (see example on Red Rubi below . . . fellow I know has a White Rubi).

 

The best place I can find is Mock Electric, they have most everything. I couldn't find a good way to mount the antenna, so I cut a fender mount and screwed it to the lower hinge on the tailgate. Looks pretty good, I'll take some pix later to day.

 

That sounds like an interesting fix.....

BTW,

I found a place (the one I mentioned to you guys last saturday) where you can ride all day for free!!! We could go here instead and save money on paying an entrance fee. As i said before, and I know it's hard to get everyone on the same schedule, I would rather go early morning and come back after lunch.
