because I need something reliable to drive? LOL
I think I'm either going to focus on YJ next or maybe a little budget boost for the JK. Who knows. There are still a few parts that I have to gather for that stang. The carb and wheels/tires are borrowed items.

Am working my build list with Mel at ORE. Will post it once it is complete and after i recover from the sticker shock.
I cant wait to get this stuff on order. The big piece will be sorting through and researching local shops to see if it is worth the chance of them doing the install or sending the JK to Mel.

$20k for parts!!!!! It will be badass but that's a lot for just parts. I'd figure around $70-$85 an hour to have a shop do the install and that will be 35+ hours. You may be able to do some of it yourself with help and then have a shop do some and come out with more $$ in your pocket.
Wow . . . sounds like an awesome build!! If you're going this far, I'd send RECON out to Mel and have him add on EVO body armor too.

4.10 gears, 33 inch KM2 MTs, Automatic....
with 55+ psi in the tires: 17 city/20+ highway (and very, very bumpy) Actually get upwards of 22+ sometimes if you keep it around 65mph
with 45-55 psi in the tires: 15 city/18 highway (slightly bumpy)
with 32-36 psi in the tires: 13 city/17 highway (comfortable ride)
No matter the psi, I can watch my gas guage needle drop if I am running 70+ mph. This particular setup seems optimal at 50-65 mph.
I am going to upsize tires this year, when I do I will go with 4.88s if I choose 35s, 5.13s if I chose 37s (which is the direction I am leaning towards)
I struggle up hills (constant downshift) with the 4.10s and 33s, but it's bearable for now. I wish it was 4.56 with 33s, but the cost of install/gears doesn't add up when I will be upgrading later anyway.
