2012 JK RIPP Supercharger Sneak Peak - Worlds First Supercharged 3.6
Yeah Amen, Brother. If I'm getting ready to release something everyone is begging for.. How are they not on here daily? "Be patient guys today we just screwed around" or "Made progress today then Tommy screwed it up" would be better than squat? I have a bad feeling about after they get my money. Just my opinion. Maybe it takes too long to post?
I don't get it... I've been waiting and waiting like all of you. The 3.6 is a new motor for the Jeep. I had a charger on my 3.6L 2010 Camaro within a year out of release. I'm about to pull the trigger on my own Charger, upgrade the injectors, and use the Diablo tuner that is available to map fuel and trans timing. If I was running this project I would be posting every dyno and something about the next stage.
Unfortunately I'm not as excited as I once was because I have nothing new to go on. I'll prob end up being a guy on the sidelines reading the experiences of others until I know it's good to go. Would have been willing to be a guinea pig back in December.

The actual system hardware has been ready for over a year. We made sure to take early delivery of our in house 2012 in September 2011 to get jump on it. The sticking point is, as it always has been the locked ecu. Meaning, that Chrysler (unlike Ford or GM) put in an encryption on all PCM's since 2011 to prevent aftermarket tuners/manufactures from changing any of the factory settings in the ECU. It wasn't until Nov./Dec. 2012 that we were able to get through the encryption and a new Diablo tool had to be created. After that was created and shown to work, new mapping pages had to be created so that the ECU would understand when it saw air pressure above atmospheric levels (boost). Now it is a matter of releasing a tune that is ready to go, unlike what alot of our competitors do. We want the experience to be a trouble free, enjoyable driving experience, a CEL free experience. Work is done all day, everyday. We are known to have the best systems for your 2007-2011 jk because of our quality control and tune. We want the same for our new program.
So far we have seen over 320 whp and 305 wtq
