Meaning, that Chrysler (unlike Ford or GM) put in an encryption on all PCM's since 2011 to prevent aftermarket tuners/manufactures from changing any of the factory settings in the ECU. It wasn't until Nov./Dec. 2012 that we were able to get through the encryption and a new Diablo tool had to be created. After that was created and shown to work, new mapping pages had to be created so that the ECU would understand when it saw air pressure above atmospheric levels (boost). Now it is a matter of releasing a tune that is ready to go, unlike what alot of our competitors do. We want the experience to be a trouble free, enjoyable driving experience, a CEL free experience. Work is done all day, everyday. We are known to have the best systems for your 2007-2011 jk because of our quality control and tune. We want the same for our new program.

So far we have seen over 320 whp and 305 wtq

Good to hear RIPP...Trouble free - CEL free...Is what we want...I think you understand how ansi we are...I've had the
Diablosport programmer installed in my JK and no issues...Keep us in the loop here...
As far as those HP & TRQ ### NICE... iis this on a auto or standard or doesn't matter...

Are the transmissions in our jeeps strong enough for this?

Wow. Yes please let us know your set up - tires, gears, etc. Your previous test had about 30-33% loss from crank to rear wheel, so that would make this 475+ at crank!

Things like is the jeep a 6spd or auto? Tire size? Stock exhaust? Are those dyno numbers STD or SAE? What octane gas and boost psi? I know its a lot of questions but i have always had fast cars and one was boosted so these are some of the things i would like to know more about. Thanks for your time and effort.
+1

The numbers 320 whp and 305 wtq mean nothing to me with out the above information, plus base line information. I've seen dynos read +- 50 rwhp just based on the type of dyno and how it was calibrated.

Uh, check your math. 30-33% loss would give you 416 - 425 hp, not 475. Also, not sure if the 30-33% loss is that accurate. Maybe more like 20-25% loss.

Still not bad, but far less than 475 at the crank.

I'm getting the 30-33% from Ripps own tests. They quote that percentage on a Jk:

Xtreme 4X4 RIPP vs HEMI Supercharged JK Part 3 - Jeep Wrangler Forum

As for math, regardless of what the claimed loss may be:

475 x .66 = 313.5
475 - 33% (156.75) = 318.25

No?

How are you getting 416-425?

You're not adding 33% to 320? That's incorrect - check your math.

dyno dynamics AWD chassis dyno (eddy current)
37" tires
5.13:1 gears
Auto

base line was @180 hp/@165 tq

We are currently testing on a 6speed manual on 34" tires stock gears...

We will release baseline and after supercharger results soon when we can properly base the 2 different setups.

30% of 320 is 96. 320 + 96 = 416. Ask RIPP, perhaps they can confirm how to convert drivetrain loss to actual crank HP.
