I was able to install my Stealth rack back in July, the install was pretty straight forward. Has anybody had any issues with the welded in nut's above the pillar's breaking loose? I was told that I might have gotten one with crappy welds and they are working on getting me a replacement.
Gobi more than made good on it though -- they sent me a replacement rear bar which fully addresses the problem. The nuts are very securely welded all the way around. I'm assuming this is they way they're making all of them now. I don't have a pic of the replacement, but I'll snap one when I'm back in town after the new year.

Yeah, the welds broke first, then the motion of the rack (or possibly the "gentle suggestion" from big sluice) was what actually bent the threaded rod which was loose in the hole.
That is exactly what is happening to mine, it only had two small welds on it. I've been in contact with GOBI in reference to it and they were suppose to send me a replacement part, but this was almost 3 months ago. Amazing product and great customer service. I guess the issue might be that I'm in Italy.

What part are you referring to?
