Alpha Expedition: Gobi Roof Rack.
Thanks! I'll post full picts there when I pick my rig up.
I tried searching to no avail... Does anyone know if any model of tail light guards will fit and allow the rack to be pivoted back WITHOUT removing them. I currently have the RR ones and have to remove them every time I want to lower the rack.
I have the RR taillight guards and don't need to remove mine...wonder what the difference is?

But there are less choices with Hannibal. With the ARB, it seems to me that you could go with the 2000. It's 78" so just a foot shorter than the rack rail. 6 inches short on either end if you center it. That seems pretty good. I think the 2500 at 98" would be too much, but I don't have any practical experience.
Oh and then you'll want these:
GOBI Jeep JK ARB Awning Mounting Brackets
Am I reading the AEX site right? Can't use the sunrider folded back on the soft top on my 2010 and up. I always have the sunrider folded back and if its not going to rain for a few days I usually just put the whole top down.
I have recently purchased some blitzpro lights for the rack (front rear and sides). Anyone have pictures of how they ran their wires for lights on the rack (either front back or sides????)
I am planning on getting some weatherpack clips for disconnecting the sides/rears....but the question is, can I ground at the rack or should I bring the negative wire down through the rack as well???
For those that have done the rear lights, the bottom rail is hollow the entire way to the front right?? what gauge wire to bring the rear lights to the front? 14?
Thanks
Mike
I started a thread in the electrical forum as well, figured this was more specific for the rack here...
