INTRODUCING Trail-Flame 7" LED Headlamps with DRL
Looks great!
About the bulb rotation, do you think it's the entire headlight that is rotated or just the outer lens with the DOT stamping? It's tough to tell from the pics, but I can see that the DOT stamping does look like it's slightly rotated counter clockwise. The DOT stamp is usually at the top, but the position does vary slightly per headlight.
Onemat's pictures are spot on, only thing I had to do was adjust them both down a little.
It's actually the FZ-08, good eye. I started with an R6 but some fine human being hit skipped and totaled it in a store parking lot last summer.
Mbogan and onemat, are you guys having any radio interference? When it's just the DRLs, no issues. The second I turn headlights on there's a sizeable amount of static and you can barely hear anything.
I see. If it bothers you, my suggestion would be to try to take the passenger headlight and place it in the driver headlight assembly slot in the Jeep. If it still seems rotated even with the other headlight, then it must be the driver side headlight slots on your Jeep itself would be slightly out of alignment. If the issue is corrected by placing the other headlight in that slot, then it would be the headlight.
This is pretty common with LED or HID headlight conversions. I have only noticed a small amount, primarily on radio stations with weaker signals. A common solution for this is the use of Ferrite Coils. They are cheap and easily installed.
I haven't heard the described interference problems but I'll try some weaker stations. I do know the snap and play cables are supposed to prevent flicker or noise problems. When I get back home I will tune to several weak stations and see.

Again, appreciate your responses both here and via email Dustin.
Installed mine yesterday, I'm old so it took me about 2 plus hours! Started with drivers side light and worked backwards to passengers side then fuse box, that way I could keep red wire as short as possible.
They look great and strange, I like strange! Now I need to upgrade fog lights in bumper because of the temperature difference, really noticeable!
Thanks Dustin

I finally got some time to put these in and take some pictures. The quality of the lights is night and day versus the stock headlights (probably not saying much given the poor stock quality). As others have said, the packaging and instructions were as good or better than expected. The only deviation I would suggest is to get all the DRL wires in place before you cut and crimp anything. There was a lot of excess on the driver side (both the DRL wires and the power wire going to the battery). If I did it again, I would be tempted to drill a hole in the side of the fuse box and fill it with silicone after feeding the power line through, but that is a very minor point (and it has it's own downside, so just a matter of preference). The light output is fantastic. I have much better visibility than I did with the stock lights and fogs on. Now the fogs can be used for just fog! The high beams light up everything when you need it. Here are a couple of shots for those who are interested: (stock lights on, stock lights off, Trail-Flame Lights off, Trail-Flame running lights on, Trail-Frame low beams on)
