Either way, valuable info we can use to make our product better!
I had to trim mine as well. 2015 JKR. Once I trimmed the tab, it fit.

Got mine installed today
It was extremely straight forward and easy to do.

Thanks

EDIT:

So I flipped them on tonight just to get a look at the pattern knowing they would need to be adjusted.
Does this pattern look correct (attached img)? Seem to have a pretty noticeable & separated hotspot, just checking to see if this is normal.
It is my understanding that the JK doesn't come with horizontal adjustability.
When I have more room ill adjust the beam to be at around 3ft off the ground at 25 feet.

They're currently pointed way too high but really lit up the road great on the short test drive I took.
(Both photos are of low beam I just adjusted the exposure on the second.)

There is a little hot spot in the low beam most noticeable on a dark road about 2.5 bus lengths out. On the interstate I hardly notice it. I'm thinking it is part of the design. I'm real happy with mine and I've seen other jeepers pointing out the drivers lights and signals. Everyone seems to like that feature.

I installed mine a week or so ago, and they've been fantastic on my early morning commute. I was short on time during the install, so I didn't do the DRL or turn signal functions. I'll hook those up eventually. I can say that the lights alone are a great upgrade and help tremendously with visibility.
