Do these laws not apply becuase only the bulbs are blue, not the light?
Awhile back David said the IPF headlights are not DOT approved.

I'm thinking of getting these lights from David. I was wondering, i found some H4 osram bulbs that are a 85/80 w light. Can i run these with this headlight conversion? Or is this to much wattage with the stock harness.

Your stock harness will shut down due to too much draw. You will need a couple of relays and a soldering iron to fix that. Keep in mind with relays you no longer get drls

Sorry i missed this post till just now. I did in fact upgrade my wareing. I used a couple of relays with fusable links to the battery and only use the stock harness to trigger them. No fire suppression systems here going 100w on the stock setup they just won't light up. The computer won't let em.

What is drls? Probably something obvious, and simple, but I have no idea.

He's referring to daytime running lights, a canadian requirement.
