Love my new poison spyder brawler light with skids plate. However. Had trouble installing it. Figured it was rubbing on crash bar so I cut that off. Still problems. Turns out two of the skid plate bolts hit the frame mounts. Once I removed these, slid right on.

I didn't see anything in the institutions about omitting these two bolts. It's also really hard to see what the bumper is hitting when installing as its a tight fit.

Beyond that. The bumper looks great. Can't wait to mount my winch.

 

So just to be clear, you guys are not offering this one?

That is correct. We are not offering the stinger with plate gussets.

I bet if you threw them a few bucks or called and asked nicely, they might be able to make it happen

If only a recessed winch with this bumper.

Why do you guys prefer the recessed winch? I just mounted my winch on this bumper but so far no issues with heat/airflow.

You lose some structural integrity with recessing your winch.

We hit 90s this week and no issues on highway commute.

 

To each his/her own I guess. I like the idea of the winch on top. Plus it looks great!
