Default OEM Fog lamp screws

Is there an alternative to using the OEM fog lamp screws? I tried to install the factory fogs to the Brawler lite bumper; while others would not screw in regardless of how much I tried to torque them down, others would just fall right through.

Do you guys at PSC recommend another type/size of self tapping screws or even a nut/bolt alternative?

If you don't have the stock self-tapping screws, you have a number of options. Some people have used pop rivets, others have used a through-bolt with a nut. I'm not sure exactly what size to use for that but you could drill the holes out a little if you need to, to fit whatever size bolt is available to you. Tim at BDF came up with what is probably the best solution, he simply tapped the existing holes for a 10-32 NF stainless steel machine screw. He recommends using a #21 drill bit to ream the hole slightly and to clear out any paint or powder coat residue. Here's a pic he posted on his Facebook page:

Its similar in size, if not identical to the SmittyB XRC stinger or the LOD rock crawler. Unlike the PSC comp stinger or the ORfab stinger, which protrude more vertically and horizontally. I think it's large enough to annoy people and have off-roading functionality, and small enough to fit in my garage!
