Send us one for R&D so we can measure it up

Is there any type of mesh insert to keep stuff from falling into the engine bay. Mainly due to my wife using up the whole 2 car garage and me getting to park underneath a few trees, damn pecan trees.

We do not make anything like that. You can get some screen material from your local metal supply and DIY something, if its important to you. If it were me, I would just not worry about it. With all these questions about water getting on the engine, and now pecans getting in there, you'd think the engine is made out of pixie dust just waiting to go *poof* and disappear if anything touches it. I assure you, that's not the case. The engine can handle a little water getting on it, and I'm sure a few pecans would just roll off as well, if they could even fit through the louver slots

Dang if i had my stock hood, I'd definitely send you mine to let you play around with it.

I'm sure plenty of MW3 hood owners would like to have some Spyder vents!

Mine came in today from Northridge4x4. I haven't seen it yet as I ship to my dads house(where my tools are at). Had him check the stencil and shoot me a pic....it's the old one. A quick call to Starlie and the new stencil will be on its way tomorrow and I will have it on Thursday. Great customer service. Funny thing is my dad was saying I was crazy for putting this on and cutting my hood up when I showed him pics online, but now that he just saw it in the box he said "wow, this thing looks pretty sharp!" "it will look good on your Jeep." hahaha. good stuff PSC. I will post again after the weekend with this installed. Hopefully I will have my Brawler Lite on order next week as well.

I just installed mine and it was easier than I thought it would be. Not to mention, it was actually fun cutting the holes!
