What would you like in a snorkel design?

I have no issue with the install at all. I don't understand why so many people think it is even possible, let alone remotely practical to manufacture an item such as a snorkel that will fit every single combination of aftermarket parts and be installable with nothing but a screwdriver and 5 minutes of spare time. It just doesn't seem like a reasonable or realistic expectation to me. I for one like having a new option available to me when making my decision as to which snorkel to install. Although I am understanding of the delays getting this one to market, I do wish it would be released sooner than later. Hurricane season is in full swing, I live in a fishbowl, and there are currently multiple flood warnings for my area.

Default Snorkel in Arizona

Do I really need a snorkel in Arizona? Well I have one on my 96XJ and you should see the looks I get with this on. We get some pretty big flash floods here in the southwest, and no I don't cross them. Most my wheeling is up in Tonto Basin or the Payson areas, with lots of creeks and steams. Am I interested in RR snorkel? you bet. Any snorkel that I can install with minimal cutting and return back to stock is for me!! I will purchase one these just as soon as its available. Cheers!

I would like some mods that I dont have to clear with California Air Quality Management board. I would be willing to make the install with write up and pictures as a tech experiment, if they send me one......

Me too! The install doesn't really look all that bad. Now I just want to know what the price is on this thing.

As noted a couple of post back.. we are still shooting for under $400 price point and so far nothing I have seen has changed that price (yet!).. We are also not wanting to set a release date but we are very close... We will have the pre-production units mounted to the Mango Tango and my 2dr 2012 Rubicon at SEMA this year... We expect to be to market at or just past that time. I'm really looking for a November release but please, please understand that delays will happen.

As noted many times before I started this thread as a way to get support for the project. It was not until this time last year that I even got a chance to make the foamcore - wood test mule.... It was not until well after SEMA last year that I even got to really dig down and start designing this thing.. ... Lots of projects all running at the same time and we will have a lot of new stuff to show for it this year at SEMA.. (Nov.1st -4th)...
