What would you like in a snorkel design?
I think this has been asked already but I didn't see an answer..
Will this work with the RR dual battery tray? doesn't seem like there'd be any room left after I installed that... Also, any way to get windshield light mount added in the general vicinity? I love that the light bar will still work but I have windshield lights too and would rather not loose those..
Main question is... Battery tray... Thanks! =)

I think the concept design on the prototype is good. The body fitment is more appealing than a tube running down the side of the fender or the hood. The box and the riser design are OK, but the finish is rough.
Refinement of the finish and the hardware is what your focus needs to be. Good job so far! Can't wait to see the finished product!

Read posts around #100 or so. If you can turn a wrench and don't mind a little hack saw work, it's a cake walk looks like. Very well though out and planned. I don't have any real world experience yet, but I'm waiting ........ Maybe by Christmas:-):-):-)
AEM had an inline bypass valve for import cai systems. I had one on my Honda a few years back to prevent hydrolock driving through deep puddles. It ended up turning the Cai into a short RAM/Cai system. The valve would tend to stay open if the main filter got wet. You might be able to build one using an extra throttle body between the Cai and snorkel, just need to make sure you put a water proof oring or gasket to seal it up. A basic water sensor in the system to turn it on and off. But in reality the snorkel is a Cai.
