I hope so. But no telling. They must be really busy with holiday orders, or this is going through some serious stress tests. Would have been awesome to get this by christmas, I would have settled for a One off prototype. Maybe in 2012??????

Funny..... but not half wrong. That is a big project and has taken a lot of time to get to the right point. When it's going to be offered in some Jeep dealers as a dealer installed option there are a lot more hoops to jump through.

Snorkel.... As noted we had quality issues with the first samples and had to almost redesign the tooling. This takes time and really stressed me out. This week I have received my first revised main body sample and we are much closer to signing off. Of the 7 main parts I have given production approval for 4 as of Tuesday.

Got to get some wrapping addressed after main body is removed from the molds. Minor deformation but not production ready.. After this week should have the final revisions made and a lot closer to production.

Because of the size of the main body my 1st vendor tried to work it out (in-house) but was unable to produce a reliable manufacturing system. We had to have this part outsourced and has been the big reason for the delay. Very sorry about the missed (promised) deadlines. Lesson learned by me on letting this much information out during development.

The latest samples will allow me to do some DYNO testing very soon. Look for that information shortly after New Years.

I over spent on Christmas anyway and would have been smacked in the ass by my wife it i charged this. So, waiting until spring bonus works better anyway. I just want to ride fast in puddles. I dont really "need"it, its a "want". But isnt everything Jeep a "want"?

I think a discount for those of us who showed patience is in order though.

personally, I love how you've kept us all in the loop for the development. I know most people can't really comprehend the difference between creating a one off project vs a production line, but ignoring that I know you'll still have hordes of folks who want this. I know am still waiting for it; let us know when the pre-orders start! And thanks again for keeping us updated!

Keep up the good work! Setting up any mfg line is tedious work that rarely falls within set timeframes.

In the meantime, Merry Christmas! Take some time and enjoy the holidays

I agree. I like the information otherwise I would have not held out and tried to modify another snorkel to fit. The delay is allowing me to go the bumper winch rout not which is probably more important and then when this is finally ready I'll have more saved up.
