Hurry up...I NEED ONE! I Hit a "small" puddle and sucked in some water and hydro-locked the motor. Luckilly I had some tools. I Pulled the intake manifold and used my shirt to soak up the water in the #3, 4, & 5 cylinders. Finally I got enough water out to get it to turn over and start after a minute of trying. No more standing water for me until I get a snorkel.

My JEEP had a sudo CAI ON it when I bought it. Not good for water.

So....PLEASE HURRY!!!!

2. Also, I think it would look better to have the side farthest passenger side of the lower portion (non A pillar snorkel extension) to follow the curve of the JK hood. It looks like now it has more of a flat (non curved) face so that the A pillar extension can easily mount.

These issues will probably be resolved but I figured I'd post them up while I still could. Thanks for the opportunity to post up our input. Can't wait to see what you guys come up with!!
Well... there is a little cutting but it is out of sight and can be returned to stock when needed... Also the design is being worked out in plastic with some steel sub-structures. The snorkel is to be marketed as a base (low mount) unit with the ability to be expanded to a high mount if desired. This will be an additional item. This does two things. (1) helps to keep entry cost lower, and (2) allows you to build your Jeep the way you want. Think of it as the XHD of snorkels.

Do I have this right?

Do we know what kind of material you plan to use yet? Aluminum or plastic?

Love the early design sketch. Any idea on what type of timeframe you're looking at for a production version? A snorkel is on my list of mods to do next, and if this is close enough to completion, I might just wait for this to come out

These thing take a little time. Hope to have it late spring early summer 2011. This is the same ETA we have been offering from the start.

We have had a delay in the snorkel project. Before any new projects could be started we had to make sure current projects were ready for SEMA and production. This might effect the original ETA offered but can not say for sure. You never know what will pop up during the development of any part.
