That is a very interesting design. Is the tall portion of the snorkel removable, for when you don't need it?

Exactly my thoughts. Are you making this with two pieces. One a street style ram air duct and the other a offroad snorkle? That would be cool to get both pieces and be able to interchange between the two. Either way i love the design. Let us know if this is what its headed towards and production. I was gonna drop some cash on some stuff but may wait for this to come out. Great job guys.

Yeah. Rugged Ridge has said that they are trying to make a modular system similar to their bumpers. I believe they said that the tall porton will be removable so you can put it on for trails but just have the short/base part for a real cold air, higher intake on the streets and trails without water crossings.

Really cool design and I love that no cutting is involved. I have a couple observations:

1. With the lower (non A pillar snorkel extension), if the JK was parked on an incline, could rain run right down into the intake?
2. Also, I think it would look better to have the side farthest passenger side of the lower portion (non A pillar snorkel extension) to follow the curve of the JK hood. It looks like now it has more of a flat (non curved) face so that the A pillar extension can easily mount.

These issues will probably be resolved but I figured I'd post them up while I still could. Thanks for the opportunity to post up our input. Can't wait to see what you guys come up with!!
