What would you like in a snorkel design?

what would the opening look like if you went with concept earlier on in the thread? i get crazy amounts of snow here and im worried about the snorkle getting packed with it. i have a pic of my drive home one night but i cant figure out how to upload it.

I'm not entirely familiar with snorkels but how's about making a snorkel/ ram air intake via removable piece underhood ex: get the look of a snorkel onroad and then when the time comes apply section connector underhood and boom entirely functional snorkel

Why not just leave it connected all the time?

How about one that goes through the firewall into the cab. I sow one for a lander rover D90 that was that way. It was very cool. It had a pre air filter that could be changed from in the cab above the feet.

They made these for the TJ as well. Very cool concept

Good point... being in the sunny south I sometimes forget about you cold weather brothers...

I always wondered about that issue and the design Jeep came up with for the wipers. Looks like a spot that would catch a lot of snow, melt and then freeze....

Got a suggestion regarding the snow? Lets hear it..

Ever heard the air going into to a filter..... Not the most cab freindly sound...
