Looks great! Is the opening at the top round? Will a prefilter style top fit on it? I'm not a huge fan of the huge ram air scoop style.

 

So RR, are you able to give us an idea yet for price. I know its still way early and you don't want to guess, but...are we talking $300 or $700.
I totally understand if you don't want to say.

Help me understand what I'm looking at in the photo without the tall extension. Where is the air coming in from? is it entering from the side of the fender area and going up into the snorkel?

What is that shiny meatl part with the two screws on the side for?

hmm, just my opinion here, and i realize you are still working out design details, but as a designer myself, I feel that the riser going from your air box to the ram attachment is very much out of proportion visually. It looks like a skinny kid wearing a too big ball cap. I was hoping to see something a little more beefy.

 

I'm thinking that was most of the point, to get rid of the look of those big ol' gaudy looking things hanging off the side of a rig...

Well i was hoping it would resemble the drawing a little more. Not sure i really dig the looks. But i won't judge it till its in full production and the design is finalized. The ram air looks to be a little out of proportion to the intake tube. And the location looks like you won't be able to run windshield lights. Whats the metal plates on it also? What are their function or use?

 

this thing looks awesome i cant wait to get my jeep one shes really going to like it. as for the windshield lights guys if you get the roof top lights you could probably get a tube mount and put it in the windshield location it would just be a little out board and it would work with the low profile and snorkel as well. thats what i think i may do when i get my hands on this item. RR this thing is sick. id really like to see under the hood if its not to much to ask or to top secret keep up the good work ive got my snorkel fund ready to get this
