How did this turn out? I'm thinking about doing the same thing with my JKU. Thanks!

I was in the same exact boat, I finally just decided to cut my losses and bought a new jeep to start over.

I added power locks and windows to my 11 unlimited. The power door lock upgrade is cake. The windows take a lot longer but turned out great to. I used an electric life kit made for the JKs for the windows. Saved money but probably will just buy the factory stuff next time just because I don't have as much free time as I used to. I had to do a little here and there to get it done. My locks are activated by the key fob and ignition, just haven't done a switch on the door.

You used the factory latches and wiring harnesses for the locks? Was it simple to connect to the keyless entry system? Did the wiring harnesses come with quick disconnects so you can take the doors off?

For the windows did you get the factory switch that goes in the dash? This was something I was thinking about trying too. It has a switch for the door locks too.

Same as the poster above.
Just got the Jeep and I am already missing the key fob to unlock/lock my doors.
Want to put this in if possible!

Hey guys, I'm trying to do this myself.

Did you guys buy what is listed for parts? Or what exactly did you buy?

I saw a kit for sale on Quadra online store, but it's not for the 2012.

I have a 2012 JKU - any info is much appreciated!!!! THANKS everyone!
