front axle trouble
I have a 2012 rubicon 2 door and only have 4000 miles on it and have had both front axles replaced one at my cost and other under warranty has anyone else had problems with their jk
Did you get defective axles from the factory? Or did you do something to them? I've never seen anything like that, especially with only 4,000 miles. Why were you required to pay for one of them?
Stock no mods at all stock bfg mud terrain well the driver axle when it went i was driving down interstate and bam a loud noise and when i stopped universal joint was gone and both knuckles on the axle were broke also . When i brought it to dealer they said i abused it cause there was mud under the jeep. Keep in mind i live down a mile long dirt road in the country . The passenger side lost a retainer clip on the u joint caught that one in time and dealer replaced that one

Our owners manual explains how to offroad and our JK's have an emblem on the side of them that says "Trail Rated".
I can't imagine the shit fit I would have thrown if my service department manager would have told me that.
