Yeah, please post up with what they say. If they tell you that it's normal and don't cover it under warranty, then I'll look at making a kit to fix this again.
I'm chiming in.... Please get us a fix. I think we're seeing an early warning of a failure point that we'll all have to deal with post warranty.
Maybe a formed load spreading plate, that we epoxy on???
I wish this top was plain fiberglass.... repair methods for that are well known and simple (although sometimes messy) to do.

I've already got the design finished. It's six simple metal plates with High Bond Double Sided Tape on one side.
I just need to follow up on costs, so I can get pricing for you guys.

If I recall correctly (doubtful) the plate that I designed is 2" X 1.5" of .125" stainless.
