Buy the 1/2 inch without the glue tape on it so you can move it around once you get it started. I opened the stuff, it has a little adhesive holding it together, and then slid it over the dash panel lip from the driver's side until it was snug against the passenger pillar. Then just cut it to length on the side where you are sitting. Straighten it to suit yourself.

I was doing the daystar dash mod today and lost one of the dash clips. Eventually I decided to take out the center dash piece, lower panel and radio and was lucky enough to find the clip. And can you believe they charge $8 for a set of two little metal clips?

Yes, it's kinda like the dryer in our house... stuff goes in and we never know where it went. I just keep buying black socks.

I like that, but atleast now we would not be lieing. I have had stuff jump out of my glove box, my regestration was the culprit when I could not get the knob to go to defrost right after I bought it. Oops the stealership got a kick out of that one.

I dropped a cap from a bottle down the front. My father in law found me this tight claw cable that allows you to reach stuff in tight places.

Had my wife operate it and i guded it using a flashlight and my driver window down outside the jeep. then pulled it up and out. very tight back there but its out and where it used to rattle, its GONE!

I took the panel off that's under the glove box and behind it I found:
a $200 pair of Raybans that I knew I didn't lose,
the antenna to my handheld cb and a magazine that I never finished.

Mine ate my antenna when I took it off the first time I went to the car wash. I had to pop open one of those little tabs to fish it out. That was the first time I noticed the mini-Grand Canyon between the dash and windshield.

Jeep sure came up with some screwy designs on the new Wrangler, that's for sure....
