Default Normal running temp..

I just bought my first jeep. Mine runs directly in the middle of the temp gauge. Is this normal?

If you have an Android device, download Torque and pick up an OBD/BT adapter and you can monitor the actual temperature. Mine generally runs 194-204 degrees. Which is about midway on the unmarked OEM gauge.

I like it a lot. No oil pressure gauge (because there is no oil pressure sensor in the JK, just a switch), but otherwise tons of info. I use it on my Nexus 7. I added an oil pressure gauge myself and now feel reasonably well instrumented.

What have you observed for oil pressure readings? (@ idle; @ 2,000 rpm, @ 3,000 rpm)

On mine, idle ~650, full op temp, the pressure hovers around 11.
At 70 mph, 2100 rpm, the pressure is about 38 psi.

My oil temp gauge is wonky lately but I'm sure I was at full op temp after a 20 mile drive on highway.
