Mine came off and never went back on too...

I am in agreeance to zking, ive been a Firefighter for 3 yrs and an EMT for 6 years, I have never seen a door opened by a push button handle being hit by another car. on that note if there is enough force to press that little button then that means there was signifigant force over a large area which means you will have a very large dent, and probly alot of passenger compartment intrusion. which then means you probly wont even be able to get the door open, thus thank god for FF and the jaws of life. As for the rollover the rotating motion would not pull the doors off because of the latch and seal. Where as if the doors get forced open by any givin means the doors will be ripped off when the hit the ground so therefore nuts or not they are coming off. so that is my conclusion that having the nuts to not have door nuts is not that much of a risk unless you are afraid they will get jacked!!!

Nuts don't do anything except make it a little harder for someone to steal your doors. I didn't know that the doors came off of my jeep when I bought I simply saw that it was easily removed with the two bolts and the strap and wa la it was off. I don't see why yours is so hard to get off I would try opening the door to 90 degrees and then lifting up I noticed that sometimes some angles are easier to remove the door with.

Default doors still stuck!! HELP!

Okay. I've tried cans of WD-40 and PB Blast. I tried the floor jack and 2X4 method. Had the suspension extended a few inches and still nothing! I'm clueless and stuck with doors on a sunny 85 degree day. Grrrr!

X2 on the angle, I've never greased or had a problem no matter how long the doors stay on, it's all about the angle

I would not have used a floor lift jack and a block of wood. Not enough user control and finesse there. Too much force and you could ruin your hinges and the door might never open/close the same again.

Still under warranty? Then take it to the dealer and have them do it. Stop screwing around with it if you can't do it.

(Eat your Wheaties every morning?) Jus' sayin.....

I found that my pin had siezed in the hinge just enough that I could not get it off.

What I had to do was get a 4" long 3/8" rachet extension, stuck it in the hole and rapped on it with a hammer. The pin in the door is a pressed in pin, and will move out somewhat from the door side of the hinge. The door will then come off and you will need to clean off the old grease from the pin before putting your door back on.

Is there a post of picts of "dimple mods"? If not, there should be
