Do you roll up the bar with the window? or do you take the window out of the C-channel?

It is best to take the bar off the window and leave it on tailgate. I was getting a lot of scratches from the bar.

HOLY CRAP IS THIS REALLY A TOPIC?

I have come to the conclustion that this topic is for those of us that truly don't understand what is ment by that stupid sticker "IT'S A JEEP THING. YOU WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND"

Using The Jeep Wrangler JK Rear Window:
Unzip the zippers to the left and right of your rear window.
(I reccamend not unzipping past the bend in the window as this may dammage the zippers.)
With both left and right hands roll the rear window up.
Do not remove the rear ancor bar as this is stupid and a pain in your @$$.
Use the supplied alstic straps to hold the rear window in place.
Results of Using The Rear Window of a Jeep Wrangler JK:
This window will become scratched.
This window will become creased.
This window will become dirty.
This window will get damaged.

This window is standard issue of a Jeep Wrangler JK. By the grace of God this jeep will become dirty. This Jeep will become scratched. This Jeep will become dented.
!!!!WARRNING!!!! DRIVING WITH ONLY THE REAR WINDOW OPEN CAN KILL YOU! EXAUST IS A DEADLY GAS! REMOVE ALL WINDOWS! TURN OFF YOUR AC. REMOVE ALL DOORS! REMOVE THE STICK FROM YOUR @$$ AND DRIVE YOUR JEEP!

thanks you two, and the others that agree that this flood of jeep ouners that really have no clue are pissing me off. i got into jeeps not because i thought they were cool looking or cause people would think i was cool, but because of what they could do and where they could take me. i love and still do love the dirty, smelly, bone jarring, teeth chattering ride of a old leaf spring jeep!!!
windows,.....what windows! fuk windows! a reall jeep never has windows in it! summer, fall, winter, spring, rinse repeat! a jeep is not a tunner car so stop treating them as such! did you read the post "DID THE JK KILL THE JEEP WAVE"? the answer is yes!! it's @$$ clowns like this that are worried about dirty or scratched windows, rubi decals on a non rubi's, a few dings or scratches on thier stupid arse alum 18-20 inch wheels w/ stars or pollished alum do-dads. that serve no function at all. Jeeps are function over form, thats it, plane and simple!!! it's the tools that can't go off road till they get thier 200 dollar diff cover, or the newest skid plates, wench, bumper, etc... then put 35x12.50s w/ out gearing it and bitch about gas millage!
i'd like to quote a line from the movie Old School. i think it relates to this:
Mitch: Sorry, your seatbelt seems to be broken. What do you recommend I do?
Cab Driver: I recommend you stop being such a faggot. You're in the backseat.
thank you, rant over, elvis has left the building.

Yes I guess great entertainment, but different things are important to different people. I have been the member of many forums with the different vehicles I have had (tundrasolutions.com is a great one!) and at times some of the comments get a little extreme when the initial questions were only to seek input, not get bashed.

I got into Jeeps because of the friendly, helpful people that I met both on the trails and in the forums.

Well most of the people in the forums are friendly....
