This is not a thread about what the difference between the two are....I am well versed in that....its just I can't decide which one I like the look better of, I like the added features of the sahara...myGig, upgraded interior, but I'm really up in the air about the black fenders vs painted....I was about five minute s from putting 2000 dollar deposit down this afternoon to order a car, but then I pulled out because I just can't decide....sway me, pictures or arguments?

Problem is....when I started this project to find a JK about a month ago....it was an X, then a Sahara, now a Rubicon!?

Painted fenders are OK, however I like the textured look of the black unpainted. Easier to care for and if you have to replace one, alot less expensive.

I here ya, just dont settle for an X if you want more wait till you can afford it .. Even if money is no object you will regret it... GET WHAT YOU WANT OR YOU WONT BE HAPPY.... GOOD LUCK...

You'll probably mod the fenders at some point anyway. Buy a sahara (steel blue) for all the upgraded features that you want. Then Line-x the fenders black Happy Jk n'

I was in the same boat a month ago. It was a X I went to look at, I pretty much passed over the sahara because to the painted fenders. I was going to take it off road so I knew painted fenders was a waste for me. I ended up sucking it up and getting a rubicon. I got to say I have no regrets. Goodluck
