Default Tuning my jeep

I'm looking at purchasing a tuner for my jeep to unlock any extra power and fuel saving abilities that are possible. I'd like to know what I can do/change with a tuner from the basic tyre size options to advanced timing and fuel option to getting the lockers to work in 4Hi. What can I do and which one is the best for my jeep?

Thanks in advance.

Al.

If you are buying for performance and fuel economy don't waste your money. Gains are slight at best. Why do you want to run a locker in 4 high?

We run Superchips Flashpaqs on our Jeeps. All have the 3.8L. I like to run premium with the 91 octane tune.

A locker in 4hi for mud and sand driving in the soft and sticky where trying to crawl through would be impractical but more traction is needed at all tyres to get me through.
Doesn't happen often but when it does you want it to work.
And thanks for the info Jk Photo and dirtman

^^ this. Being able to engage lockers in 4wHi would be helpful in the sand. Subscribed.

Thanks for the info on bully dog K9 I'll look them up.

Also thanks for the hard wire link Vlad.

It's another way to go if I don't get a tuner.
I've seen this version before but I figure that if I can leave it "stock" and trick the computer into doing what I want with the standard dash I'd probably be better off and grab some other bonus functions like a better engine tune while I'm at it.

Are there any other products out there worth checking out?

I also have the Bully Dog and like it. It's also nice to turn off the ESP so you can get some wheel spin in the sand.
