Maryland is way to strict.... i can cross the bridge from my house 8 miles away into VA and open carry in food lion..

here in md... if you have a handgun it must be in a locked case with mag an ammo in seperate locked case... if not while pulled over and cop see's they have the god given right from the lovely state of md to take your gun... till you get another case for both peices..

i hate md... im moving in a year to va..

they took our right to bear arms

Here in the Peoples Republic of Shitcago and in the Communist State of Illinois peoples 2nd Amendment Rights are spit on. Careful what long gun you own here because there are restrictions on that as well. Google mcc 8-20-050 it lists all the restricted firearms in that code. There is also some Crook County ban as well.

here in Jersey, there are 5 ways to get a CCW:

1. be a Law Enforcement Officer
2. be a retired Law Enforcement Officer
3. be an armored truck driver/Security
4. be very rich
5. be politically connected

other than that, good luck. when you apply, you have to provide a letter of "justifiable need" and go in front of a county superior court judge and present your case. The judge will then decide if it's justified enough.

I've had mine a bit over 30 years. I carry pretty much whenever I go anywhere. My wife, son, and daughter also have their permits to carry. We also shoot steel plates with pistol weekly at our home club. I look at having a CCW and carrying a gun sort of like having a fire extinguisher at home, you don't EVER expect to need it, but if you do, it will likely save your life.

I have my CCW and I use it.

I would like to know if there is a study that gives statisics on the number of times a person with a CCW save thier own lives compared to the number of times a person with a CCW saves the life of a stranger because they were there and the cops weren't. I know I can think of hearing about the later of the two the most.

I guess you sure must like doing the good you do enough to live in that place. From the way you talk about it, I hope you don't have to live there forever....
