2013 CB Mount
Finished my install this weekend using the strike force zebra bracket. Very simple, but fits perfectly and was well worth the $20. Sure, I could have easily made this, after a trip to the hardware store, time to cut it, time to bend it, fit check it, bend it some more, drill it, paint it, wait for the paint to dry, then paint it again. $20, same day shipping... I'll take it. Routed power inside A pillar plastic and coax inside rollback covers. Only thing you can see is my antenna and my radio.

Thanks!
So I've flipped through several of the pictures and links, but I don't think I've seen a CB install on a 2013 JK. I've seen the ones that mount over the rearview mirror, however with the mirror on the 2013s being auto-dimming I'm not sure they would fit. I'm also concerned because I do run a hardtop, and take the panels off, and want to have access to the knobs to open them. I'm open to suggestions on where to mount it, since I'm still trying to decide.
Here's a link to the CB that I will be using.

Yes the mic cable does fit in the notch. There is also one on the drivers side.

I don't have the auto-dimming mirror (mine is a 2012) but I used the Strike Force Zebra mount. My Uniden 520 fits very well but there is maybe a half inch of space between the top of the mirror and the CB. I could go wider and maybe a little deeper (with an elbow connector) but I can't get a much thicker CB. That is too bad since I may have eventually wanted one with a few more features.
My wife is short so it works out great...a friend of mine mounted his over the driver seat but I'm a little tall (6'2) so my head was hitting it..as far as the rear view it doesn't interfere at all.
