I'll take it. Routed power inside A pillar plastic and coax inside rollback covers. Only thing you can see is my antenna and my radio.

What size is your radio? The pictures on their site show what looks like a somewhat small radio. I've got the Uniden Bearcat 880 (which seems to be about the size of the Cobra 29, based on specs), and after a quick placement test, it seems like it would be tight. That was with me naively assuming the mounting bracket would go straight into the plastic... I guess with a mount like the Strike Force Zebra bracket, it would be pushed away from the windshield a bit.

Thanks!

I've seen the ones that mount over the rearview mirror, however with the mirror on the 2013s being auto-dimming I'm not sure they would fit. I'm also concerned because I do run a hardtop, and take the panels off, and want to have access to the knobs to open them. I'm open to suggestions on where to mount it, since I'm still trying to decide.

Here's a link to the CB that I will be using.

Thanks.
I've got 2013 mounted on footmans loop above autodim mirror. On phone so can't post pics but they on my profile pics

Yes the mic cable does fit in the notch. There is also one on the drivers side.

All the wiring is what came with the cb.

Interesting idea. How does it work with the passengers head and your mirror? Looks good

I don't have the auto-dimming mirror (mine is a 2012) but I used the Strike Force Zebra mount. My Uniden 520 fits very well but there is maybe a half inch of space between the top of the mirror and the CB. I could go wider and maybe a little deeper (with an elbow connector) but I can't get a much thicker CB. That is too bad since I may have eventually wanted one with a few more features.

My wife is short so it works out great...a friend of mine mounted his over the driver seat but I'm a little tall (6'2) so my head was hitting it..as far as the rear view it doesn't interfere at all.
