Can someone tell me why an antenna bracket is $30!?
Want to get a bracket for an antenna upgrade for my 2011 jk, come to find the damn prefab brackets are $30! C'mon, really? Any suggestions on how to make one? (i'm refering to the spare tire bracket) so frustrated!
My first iteration was a hole in the OEM tire carrier, after I lopped off the third brake light:

With the aftermarket tire carrier, a piece of aluminum angle does the trick:

Recently on here, I saw where a guy took a flat mount and screwed it to the top door hinge after removing the plastic cover.
Take a look around the CB area of a truck stop for ideas. I think $30 is stupid, too.
