Fender/hood antenna mount
I have been looking for a aftermarket antenna mount for the driver side hood/fender. I have only found 1 and its $25 plus shipping which is $25, I can't justify spending $50 on a antenna mount. I can't mount it on the tail gate as I took the spare off and put a warrior plate so all the factory hole mounts are gone.
Has anyone found a cheaper mount or DIY from like Home Depot or anything. I'm most likely going to have to fab one up on my own but if I could find one for a decent price that would work to.
Thanks for your help

I can't mount one there cleanly because I have covered the holes in the tailgate with a warrior plate.
Has anyone purchased or made a fender cb antenna mount?
I have found one on right channel radios but its $50 with shipping which is a lot of money for a mount. Unless you guys think other wise.

AFAIK, there is no fender/hood mount specifically made for a JK. Whatever you find will probably have to be modified, like this guy:

I think it'd be pretty vulnerable up there going through brush, too, but that's your call. You CAN add a piece of angle above your Warrior tramp stamp, like this:

Or you could strip off the plastic condoms on your tailgate hinges and add a small bracket there.

Got a flat mount and bent it in half at a 90 degree angle. Ran the coax through the hole that the rear washer line goes through. Looks clean, works great. Hope this helps. (Mount was $8.00 at the local Ranch and Home store)

Was looking for mounting options myself, and found that RightChannelradios.com has a Jeep JK specific mount for $25 and shipping is $6. I might go this route, but you could probably modify any fender style mount just check this one out to see how to bend it.
