Ok this is my new favorite spot for a Cobra 75. Can you provide any details on the install?

I was looking into a mount like this and got sidetracked with grab handle screws. Those have some odd threads and I couldn't find any longer ones, which I thought would be necessary.

Details please!

So would the one being on the actual cb effect the firestik then? Im wondering if I should take that one off and just run the bigger one

Thanks, guys! I used the Cool Tech LLC. CB All-in-One Kit kit. In addition I needed an extension. Unfortunately the shortest extension you can get is 4 feet and you only need about 4 inches. I mounted the box behind the glove box and used the extension to bring it over to the clip in the center. I cut the clip off and drilled a center whole. Used a reamer to open the hole just big enough for the grommet.

Excellent. I hadn't seen this version of the verbs amount before. I kept finding the older style which didn't quite look to be a fit.

I tried it both ways on my last time out, couldn't tell any difference in reception
