So where have you been mounting the CB's?
Cobra 29 LX on a Arizona Rocky Road mount. Currently running a hardtop so two 3/8" holes drilled to the roll bar. If your running a soft top you use the existing holes for the hard top aligning pins. No rattles when mic cord hangs freely, and you can still get to the Freedom Top latches. I was thinking of making the mount but got lazy. Besides, the purchase supports a fellow jeepers small business.

Firestik M2 mount with a little internal tub trim. Getting SWR of 1.2 across all channels.

Well, I went through all the pages and I can't believe no one has mounted their CB where I have mounted mine...unless I missed something. It's out of the way, easy to hide wires/cables, the internal mic points right up to your ear so you can hear it well. Only downside is that it's behind ya and you have to look down and away from the road to change channels but I keep mine on scan or 1 channel for my jeep club. This is a temporary set up until I drill some holes or make it more solid somehow. If I hit a nice bump, it'll pop off the tabs. here are some pics.....

Tuffy Overhead console. I had to do a few mods on the back, but I like it and does not hit me or the wife in the head. Attachment 487429Attachment 487430Attachment 487431Attachment 487432Attachment 487433
I don't have a pic right now but I made a custom mount above my mirror that is supported by the loop hole above the wind shield. I was wondering if anyone had made a locking/more secure adaptation to that. I love having my cb there but a thief could have it in a matter of minutes. Any ideas?
