Thanks. I went with the 2.5" 4dr springs as my 2dr has a lot of extra weight from the full skids. Final height came in at just under 3". I really like the ride with the Fox shocks and not much dip under breaking or body roll on the street. My other option was the evo plush ride, but I have long travel shocks to get more droop, and didn't want the springs to become unperched.

After the last wheelin' trip and covering the Jeep inside and out in mud. Decided to get some seat covers. After researching on the web and reading the great "JK Forum" posts on the subject. Went with some Trek Armor covers. Red on black.

Waiting a few weeks before cutting the holes for front headrests as suggested on youtube vids.

How was the install of the prerunner speed bumps? Can you cut the frame out with just a cut wheel or do does it require a torch? I was thinking about putting a set of these on mine when I install the two door rock krawler X factor lift. It uses their 1.5" coils but rock krawler always runs higher especially on a 2 door.

(The old rear speed bumps are up for grabs if any one is interested. Picture on post #18. Minimum lift require is 4" to use them even though they say you can use on 3" lifts)

Saw and cutting wheel work fine. You just have to take your time notching it out bit by bit. Clean up with a grinding wheel. It is fun trying to weld around the back. 3hrs tops for the install.

It will be close with a 1 1/2" lift. RK do 2dr and 4dr specific springs now. The 4dr might gain you a little extra.

Yea I thought I might be pushing it with the 1.5 coils. I really don't want to go much higher and run into replacing drive shafts and also the steering issues. Did you install the axle bumpstop pads included in the kit? I was thinking that if I didn't install them it might counter the lack of a lift.

Yes I installed the pads. You will want too also, otherwise you will wear out the bumpstop on the steal pads. You should be able to shorten the pads. You can also shorten the tubes that the bumpstop mounts in.

I think trimming those pads should do the trick. I believe they are 3/4 of an inch thick. Probably going to trim 1/2 inch off and that should do the trick. Worth a shot anyways

Nice build, man. I need to spend more time reading build threads and a lot less time updating mine.
