Ade's JK Build (2 Door)
Your jeep build thread is great, has a lot of mods I'm after. I was wondering what size RK triple rates springs you got 2.5" or 3.5" Thanks. I can't decide what RK lift size I want to go with on a 2 dr with 35's I know the triple rate springs are now different for 2dr & 4dr.
After the last wheelin' trip and covering the Jeep inside and out in mud. Decided to get some seat covers. After researching on the web and reading the great "JK Forum" posts on the subject. Went with some Trek Armor covers. Red on black.

How was the install of the prerunner speed bumps? Can you cut the frame out with just a cut wheel or do does it require a torch? I was thinking about putting a set of these on mine when I install the two door rock krawler X factor lift. It uses their 1.5" coils but rock krawler always runs higher especially on a 2 door.
Didn't like the clearance of the Teraflex rear speed bumps, so notched the frame rails and install a set of prerunner speedbumps on the rear. Have about 1 1/4" of clearance now at ride height. (The old rear speed bumps are up for grabs if any one is interested. Picture on post #18. Minimum lift require is 4" to use them even though they say you can use on 3" lifts)

Yea I thought I might be pushing it with the 1.5 coils. I really don't want to go much higher and run into replacing drive shafts and also the steering issues. Did you install the axle bumpstop pads included in the kit? I was thinking that if I didn't install them it might counter the lack of a lift.
