I've been thinking about getting an m101a1 or 2. How does your jk handle pulling it? I've heard they weigh in around 1300lbs.

Pulls it with no problem at all. I have a 2012 so don't know how much of a difference that makes, but I won the trailer off of eBay and had to pick it up almost 200 miles away. All highway driving at 60-65 with no problem. I am mainly going to use it for bikes, kayak, and camping gear. Can't imagine having more than 500-600lbs of gear in it. I will post pics as I make progress. I'm ready to take it and the family camping.

Thanks for the info! I'd be using mine for the same things...and I have a 2012 too. Most of the posts I've seen have been with 3.8 jks, so I appreciate your perspective. Great looking jk too btw!

I'm preparing mine for the above and am having a custom safari roof rack, winch bumper (LOD mid-width) and Wartn M8000 winch mounted over the next couple of weeks. Who else is preparing their's for similar? Here's mine so far:

I like your front bumper, if you ever want to sell it let me know.
Were you from?

This would explain why the passenger gets to steer. ;-)
