Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

It is off a 2001 XJ. I got an extra set of cross bars with it all for $25 at the local yard. I love junk yard gold!!
The way the XJ rack looks on the JK looks like the factory did it.
Now I ordered the mounts for the Surco Roof rack that mount to the XJ rack should have those in a week.
I will post when I get the roof rack on.

Thanks!
I wanted something that looked factory and did not have a cage all around the jeep and gave good base for the Surco rack to attach to. It might not hold as much weight as a Gobi or something like that but I need the space for lighter larger objects like awning and shovels and rotopax things like that.

Just keep an eye on those crossbar rivets, they have a tendency to break! Otherwise, looks great!

True!!
I had to pull a couple from the yard to get some good ones but the surco roof rack j100 mounts attach to the track so I will not even use the factory cross except for backup cross support.
Thanks for the heads up!!

Did you ever have the hard top with the rack? If so was it a PITA to get it off?
